5 Chrome Extensions to Boost Productivity

chrome-extensions-productivity.png

At Merus, we're always looking for new ways to make our online browsing experience a whole lot more productive. Today we're going to share some of our favorite extensions to help you make the most out of Google Chrome and the work you do on the Internet!

1. Grammarly Spell Check & Grammar Check

No one wants to accidentally send an important email or brief with grammatical errors. With Grammarly, you won't have to. Grammarly not only offers a grammar checker but also vocabulary enhancement, to allow you to write with clarity and precision. Happy typing! Pro Tip: Chrome already has your back with misspellings so if you are using Chrome in MerusCase, it will automatically catch any spelling errors you make.

2. FullContact for Gmail

Have you ever received an email from someone and completely forgot who he or she is? FullContact allows you to hover over an email address and get a social profile of the person, complete with their company information and social media accounts. With FullContact, you can seamlessly add them as a client, schedule meetings, and even invite them to a Google Hangout. This is a great way to get an instant refresher for the person you may have met at that networking event last week or to gather extra information to interact with new clients.

3. Pocket

Many a times, I've seen an interesting article, but didn't have time to read it immediately. When I went back to look for it later, I can never find it. Pocket has solved just this problem: now, you can bookmark articles and read them later on any device, even if you are offline. Bookmark away! Pro Tip: Use the Add to Pocket extension to save articles or videos with a simple click.

4. Ad Block

Ad Block automatically blocks all advertisements after you add the Chrome extension. Now, you can browse freely without any distractions from advertisements on web pages. They even block those pesky pop-up and follow you around ads!

5. TabCloud

With TabCloud, you can save any open tabs and easily open them later. They sync to desktops, tablets, and mobile devices so you can start a project at work and continue it later without missing a beat. You can even save and name tabs by groups. This makes it so easy to organize and switch between  different projects or cases that you are working on! Pro Tip: If you use Google Chrome and sign into your account, your tabs and bookmarks are available across all devices.
